I have purchased a quite simple Sony Bravia TV for my dad who is hard of hearing. (32R4338)
The TV is set up with a recordable dvd. I have set up the subtitles but neither these, or the red button, will work if connected to the dvd with the HDMI cable. Is all fine if I disconnect. It is not the end of the world as he is struggling to use the dvd now anyway, but would be nice to get them to work together. Any ideas gratefully received.
