Sony Bravia KDL40W705C wall mounting

Can the table top stand supplied with this set be used to hang it on the wall?

I did this with my KDL42W705 last year, but can't tell from any of the online info whether the same style of table/wall braket is supplied with the KDL405W705C.

Hi, welcome to Community Sony,

unlike to models from last year the KDL-40W705C is VESA compatible, TV doesn't use his stand for wall mounting. These are your VESA dimensions: 300 mm x 200 mm.

Thanks Manolo.   That's a shame - it means I have to factor in the cost of a bracket!

Do any of the current models have the old style table/wall brackets?
