Sony Bravia KDL40EX43BU - how to connect to internet

I recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL40EX43BU 40 inch TV. One reason was the internet connectivity. However I have been unable to use it as it does not seem to be picking up the wireless network in my home. Am I doing something wrong, does the TV not pick up wireless networks do I need to do something that is not clear in the guidance? Can anyone help me?

Hi Chrismcg

This model doesn't feature integrated wireless I'm afraid. You can connect one of several different ways.

• Direct connection via an ethernet cable to your modem router.
• Via the Sony Wireless Dongle e.g.  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-UWABR100-Bringing-Wireless-Internet/dp/B0036XX4G0/ref=sr_1_1?s=electron... but available from many other retailer as well. It has to be the Sony dongle though as due to driver compatibility you can't simply plug a normal PC USB dongle in.
• Grab a pair of homeplugs which would offer the invisbility of a wireless connection, but the speed and stability of a wired connection.

Well worth connecting the device however you choose to do it though! Hope this helps
