RMF-TX100 Touchpad remote variants

Can I use a RMF-TX100U touchpad remote instead of a RMF-TX100E on my UK TV? I have an option to purchase the 'U' version from America cheaper than the 'E' version from the UK (John Lewis)

Hi there

I have recieved confirmation that the US version of this remote (RMF-TX100U) is compatible with TVs sold in Europe.
