Remove display of BBC press red button

I know I can press the green button to get rid of this annoying DOG when it pops up unexpectedly.

BUT - How can I stop it keep appearing in the first place. I never want to press the red button so why keep telling me to?

It is really annoying and it just stays there if I ignore it. There must be a way to stop it surely?

As far as I know, its controlled by the broadcaster over the transmission, so you'd have no control over it unfortunately. It gets around 14m clicks a week apparently, (across all devices) so BBC do push it quite a lot.
