No Audio coming to Sony Audio System from Sony TV using HDMI

Hello All,

I have following TV and sound system:

- Sony Brabia KDL-46D3500

- Sony DAV-DZ260 sound system

I have 2 HDMI connections in my TV, Sky box is connected to HDMI-1 and Audio system is connected to HDMI-2. It was working fine as I watch TV channels from sky box and I could switch audio to TV speakers or Audio system and it was working fine. I disconnected TV and sound system last week for some maintenance at home and connected it back after 3-4 days. Now I can hear sky channels audio from TV speakers but when I switch to Audio system, no audio comes. Sometime my audio system says "MUTING ON".

To fix it:

I have reset both tv and sound system

Checked almost all settings

Changed HDMI cables

But no success till now.

Can someone help to sort this out?

Hi there

Have you tried pressing the mute button on the audio systems remote control - this should disable muting.

Can you please provide more information, in order to advise you better.

1. What equipment are you using (TV, Theatre System etc, and model numbers)
2. What problem solving have you done?  If any? 
3. And any other relevant information.
