kdl-55w905a

arcam sr250 amp

tivo box

cant seem to work out why im not getting sound  through my hi fi speakers when using the usb

on the tv...using hdmi cable from tivo to amp then hdmi from arc output on amp to arc hdmi 1 on tv.......does the usb on tv use audio out optical only?

totally confused

Hi there

The TV should output audio via HDMI-ARC via USB directly connected to the TV.  Advise that you ensure that the files on the USB drive comply with the supported video/audio codecs of your TV. See:
