Cannot disable message “this program is available in HD”

I know this topic was supposedly resolved in 2014 by updating the software but it has only recently started appearing in my TV and I cannot update the software as my TV is older and software updates stopped in 2022.

The message appears every time a new program starts. It drives us mad so how do we stop it?

Hi @JM-123   So are you watching in HD (channels 101 ...)? BBC will be turning off standard definition broadcasts in the near future. The starting point for any requests for help, is the full model number of your TV. It will start with KD or XR.
