Can I find details of software updates?

My KDL-40EX653 invited me to install an update today, which I did.

I'm just curious- is there a web page somewhere which describes what is contained in the updates, similar to the details you can get for Windows updates?

I'd like to know whether the update contained just bug fixes or whether there might be a new or improved feature which I haven't discovered yet.

I don't know what update you got on your TV, but the latest update for your model you can find it at the following web page:

there are later updates for other models like the one you can find at the following web :

and at both pages you can find details about the benefits of the updates

Thanks etritd - that's exactly what I was looking for; although the info hasn't been updated.  According to the web page the latest update is PKG1.602EUA;  I've now got PKG1.700EUA-0002.  Hopefully they'll make details of this available in the next few days.

Well... it happens with my model, too. It takes a few days to be posted online after I already have it updated
