Bravia TV Sony KDF-50E2000

Hi

I own a Sony Bravia TV KDF-50E2000 (rear projection) bought in 2007 from a local shop.  It is still in immaculate condition but needs some repairs and could not find the spare parts needed from the local (Malta) market.  The picture attached clearly shows the defect on the screen.  Can anyone indicate what repair is needed on this tv? Thanks. Joe
