Bravia sound issue with macbook

Hey all, need some help on an issue I face. I have the following setup:

Sony KLV-40W562D.

Macbook Air.

Sony HT-RT3.

HT-RT3 is plugged in to the HDMI-1/ARC port on TV. Macbook is plugged to HDMI-2 port. As soon as mac is plugged in I get the error on TV  "TV speakers active due to Audio System Communication failure".  

If I use Windows instead of macbook, everything works fine. Video can be played on TV (via windows) and audio on HT-RT3. 

Anyone faced similar issue and has any suggestions on how to fix this?

Issue fixed - Pin 13 (CEC) on the hdmi cable was the culprit.
