sending sms text from a missed call

am I doing something wrong? - if I get a phone call in from a mobile phone number that is not stored in my phonebook when I click on that it goes straight to calling the missed call instead of giving me an option to sed a sms text or call. Is this right is it supposed to work like that or am i doing something not right? - if someone calls me and they re in my phone book then when i look in the recent calls and click to the right of the missed call it gives me an option to snd an sms text then. Are you tapping or long pressing because these often have different functions. Tapping calls back, long press gives you a pop up function.

Long press on the number. This will present you the option to send a message to that number.
