Hard reset issues

Hi just hoping someone knows how to hard reset as ive forgotten my password and ive tried everything from holding the buttons and pressing the hidden off button on the back

Hi @Swhityproace, welcome to our forum!

I'm afraid that there is not that much to try except trying the steps on the link that @uliwooly posted.

The MyXperia service is no longer available as it has been discontinued, so you can skip that part and try straight away with Android device manager.

Do note that the Xperia S and Xperia SP has reached their end of support, so you are not able to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion to reset the device and remove the screen lock this way, as no software is available on the servers. There is also no button combination to force a factory reset.

Let us know how it worked out when using Android Device Manager (Find my Device).
