direct dialling

I have a contact picture on my home screen with an M in the picture that allows me to dial direct, other contact photos do not allow me to dial direct but send me to a menu with options to call,text, or email. Do you know how I can set my contacts to dial direct.

how about

long press anywhere on your home screen, select shortcut, Direct Dial, select the contact. and voila
