back slash character (\)

Does anyone know how to get the back slash character (\) on the Xperia mini?? Thanks.

In the on screen keyboard you can see the tab for entering special characters and smileys. Activate the screen and scroll down below the smileys to see the (\) button. If you cant find the symbol, go to settings> loacale and text and make sure that the default input option is checked.

Thanks heaps.  I'm still getting used to the mini but this certainly helps (first smart phone)!!!
