Which meassures do I have to take after dubbing to DVD rom in order to se the film on another DVD machine?

I have a RDR-HX900, I have tried the dubbing function in order to se a film on a friends DVD machine. No luck The machine can't find any files. I slightly remember that i have to make the DVD "come down/land" (don't know the teminology for this action), on my DVD before I can watch it on another DVD.

Can anybody tell me what I have to do?

You need to 'Finalize' the disc.  Look for an option in the disc setup menu.
