STR-DN1080 STOPPED

I have a new problem. I use a android TV box and it has worked fine for a year. Now when I turn on the STR-DN1080 the lights come on, it has Video 1 like always, but neither the picture or sound work. Pressing Home button doesn't work either. (TV box and TV work fine when I connect then directly with HDMI cable)

Any idea how to get it working again?

I recommend you proceed with the following steps first:

1. Disconnect the receiver from the mains (power)

2. Disconnect all HDMI devices from your receiver

3. Reconnect your receiver to the mains. 

4. Verify if the receiver has recovered all functionality. If yes, then disconnect it again from the mains before connecting all HDMI devices back again. 

If the issue is not resolved after the above steps, the recommendation is to follow the procedure below. Be sure to use the buttons on the receiver to perform this operation.

1. Turn off the receiver.
2. Hold down (power) on the receiver for 5 seconds.

   [CLEARING] flashes on the display panel for a while, then changes to [CLEARED !].

3. Do not turn the receiver off until [CLEARED !] appears on the display panel. You then can turn off the unit.
