Hello.
I have just given my partner my old UBP-X800.
It is connected to a 49XE8004 TV.
The player has the same issue in that it isn't recognised immediately by the TV when switched on. A no signal message is displayed.
Any suggestions?
Hi, this could be due to multiple reasons.
First of all make sure that your TV itself is on the latest software version and enable bravia sync control options to sync it to the player, To make sure that you're on the latest one press on the help button on the remote then choose system software update then choose check for a software update.
For bravia sync options head to watching TV - external inputs - Bravia sync settings.
Try a different HDMI cable/Port to check as sometimes this could be due to a faulty cable/Port.
Also you might wanna check the pages 13 to 15 on here in regards to using the player itself.
