RDR DC205 no channels found even though signal from cable is fine

Can anyone help? The DVD and HDD players both work fine but can't record any programmes. Guide can't find any channels. Have tried re tuning and also resetting the machine. The co ax cable definitly has signal because the tv receives the signal fine and it comes through the Sony dc205.

Hi there

Try doing a factory reset on the RDR... It may clear any settings that has got "stuck" then try re-tuning it in again.

Did a factory reset already using stop and power button together. Doesnt work.

The only other thing that I can suggest is to ensure that you have the correct Country/Region set for the Guide+

If that doesnt work, maybe another forum member might have another idea.
