My BDP S350 jumps when playing Blu-ray disks - what should I do?

My player is approx 2 years old and has jusst recently started to jump during playback.  Even brand new disks are jumping.  Do I need to clean the lens?  If so, should I use a cleaner CD, or should I take the case off and clean the lens by hand?
