Bluetooth headphones with BDV-E2100

Hi All, looking to find out if bluetooth headphones will work with my Sony BDV-E2100?  Tried pairing but the BDV does not see the headphones (Toshiba).  BDV-E2100 software is the latest M16.R.0255.

Hi gkmoran,

I've checked this for you. It doesn't seem that this system can actually output the Bluetooth signals to headphones. According to the Manual, you can only connect Bluetooth devices to enjoy music on this system.

Thanks for the reply. The BDV does claim to support A2DP which I thought was what is needed for headphone support?

I think the Bluetooth is Sink...: Receiving (A2DP-SNK: Advanced Audio Distribution Sink)

Hi gkmoran,

You're right, it supports A2DP.  But only for receiving Bluetooth signals from devices like (Smartphones, etc..). It can't output audio signals to headphones via Bluetooth.
