BDPS-790 New YouTube For TV Full Screen

Hi all.

Just updated my Sony BDPS-790 to the latest firmware, and noticed the New YouTube For TV icon on the crossbar.

I had a look at this as my wife really enjoys the 'Come Dine With Me' programs and they have lots of them on YouTube. I was able to find many to play, but I just end up with the program playing in a small screen on my 40" Sony TV with a 'Come Dine With Me' logo at the top third of the screen, and gaps either side.

Is there any way to make this play full screen, I've tried all sorts of things but it wont change the size of the picture. Its quite frustrating and my wifes given up now and in a huff!

Appreciate any help you be able to give 🙂

My BD Player would be almost complete if it had those two catchup services, Sony can keep 90% of the others.

Just think, by not having ITV Player and 4OD, its impoving your mental health.  Too much 'reality tv' and poverty porn is not good* 

Nah, seriously, it appears that ITV and 4OD dont (or cant) want these services on tvs in general.  I understand that ITV and Channel 4 are alligned with Sky..... so who knows.  Only a smattering of Sammy TVs have them.

Yes your most likely correct, um what side is the poverty porn on though? I gotta see that!

I always thought I had both channels on my WD player previously which is why I miss them, however, having checked the catchup services I was wrong! Doa'h!!!

Thanks for the spoiler, well it must be true then and I don't doubt those statistics one bit! Are you sure?
