BDP S760 retains an image from a previously played disc

I have a BDP S760 for over a year already. Some days ago it happened that I changed a disc but the new disc didn't start playing. Instead the TV showed tha last image the previous disc had. I took the disc out and inserted it again but the image stayed. I first thought it was the problem of that played disc (it was new), but yesterday similar thing happened again. This time the previous disc was one that we had played many times before and have never had any problems with it. I tried to do software update but it said that it was updated. What else can I do to get rid of that problem? Also, there appears a short red line in the middle of the screen when such a thing happens.

It came out that the BD disc was dirty. After I washed it, all problems were solved. Interestingly, the only thing the new disc showed was this short red line which appeared to be the line under the selected language.

It seems that the S760 is very sensitive to dirty discs. Good to know for those who have kids:)
