SS-MB250H bookshelf speakers

What is SS-MB250 woofer's surround made from? Is it rubber, poliurethane foam or another material? What about it's lifetime?

Looking at the picture I would guess it's Polyurethane.. I can't say if Sony give this a lifetime figure but looking around some audio sites it seems 15-20 years is an average figure but it would depend on placement & how the speakers are cared for..

So I have bought a pair of these speakers. Totally disassembled at this moment for upgrade. Read me later about construction and components.
