I bought a Samsung QE55Q70RA TV and a Sony HT XF9000 soundbar the other day. I set it up yesterday and got the system to work. They connected through both Bluetooth and HDMI ARC.
This morning it worked fine, but when I turned the TV on later in the evening today the TV couldn't find the soundbar. I've tried both the Bluetooth function and direct link via HDMI but it will not find the soundbar. I've tried factory reset multiple times, connecting the soundbar through other devices such as Xbox One S with no luck.
I need some help with this issue. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi VetFos,
Welcome to the community.
I'll see if I can track down an answer. Maybe someone else in the community has an idea in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi VetFos,
I'd start by making sure the Sound bar is up to date:
I can see that the factory reset can only be done through the Home menu of the Sound bar when displayed on the TV, how did you manage to reset the system while it wasn't detected by the TV?
Also, have you tried a different HDMI cable?
Good luck,
Fadi
