Bought a brand new camera from the Sony website, with three Sony lenses, all registered on my Sony account. Having waited 30 days to claim with my emailed codes I discover that I need to provide proof of having cut the serial codes from the boxes... I didn't keep the cardboard boxes.

Hey ajprentice, that's tough luck! It is absolutely needed in the campaigns, with no exceptions. 

You can try asking if they can offer an alternative, but it's a long shot.
