Yea they've made it pretty clear before that this is user/customer forums. 
They might monitor it, or release a few statements here and there but they don't reply to us that frequently, especially with how easy it is to get in touch with their support.

The icon ITVX appears now after this latest update on the A90J so i would've thought it will be on the similar models like the A80J, A84J etc.

early March 2023 now  and I still cannot find ITVX on Google play store on my Bravia 55 easily downloaded to my fire stick etc just not on the Sony TV and ITV hub has stopped functioning

My Sony bravia 8s the worst TV I have ever owned, and this issue with itv X, or the lack of it, is the latest in all my issues*.

Why is the itv hub only available through Sony select anyway?

If its a Google TV, why can't we just download the itvx app?

* Other issues invoice stuttering/frame skips/colour changes in Disney and prime while watching programs in Dolby Plus - which doesn't even have it's own settings and can't be controlled!

@Jonswepiii, what is your TV model? have you checked if it supports iTVX or not? Also what is the software version on your TV? It'd be helpful if you shared more details about the picture and the apps issue

Hey Jagdude, what's the model number of your TV? Also, what is the software version? 

I've heard that many people are having an issue with the app, is that the case with you? Were you able to get it on your TV, but now it's not working? Or did you never have it?

Recent new member. 

I too am unable to get ITVx or channel 4 on my four year old Sony bravia tv. Both apps also not in the tv Google play store.

Don't understand why bbci, channel 5 & other streaming channels work perfectly but ITVx doesn't.

Any fix yet? 

This will definitely count against Sony when buying a new device.
