I have a Sony 14" Trinitron TV. It has no scart socket. Can it be converted for the digital switchover?

You should still be able to purchase a digital set top box with a RF modular out port, this would allow you to connect to your TV's aerial socket.

Something like this should do the trick - Goodmans A-Grade Freeview Receiver
