Can anyone point me in the direction of Head Office? I have had a Sony KDL22EX55 3BU Smart TV on order from Currys since 20.10.12. Paid for using Vouchers. I was told order would be 2-3 weeks which was fine as I was on hols. I rang to see where my TV was only to discover that they have NO expected delivery date on the TV or other Sony TVs and when pushed exactly the same on the Samsung ( not that we would have the Samsung).
I suspect that Currys may be heading the same way as Comet and would love to know if they even have any orders placed with Sony for this model. This is so annoying since the local John Lewis has them in stock but I need to use the vouchers which are specifically for Currys. They have checked and none of their stores within a 30 mile radius have the TV in stock. The local store cannot check further afield which is ridiculous. Apparently I have to ring somehwre like London or further north or south to make the enquiry!
I have every intention of contacting Currys Customer Service but am expecting the standard apology and a credit note for Currys which is the last thing I want!
I am hoping Head Office will be able to confirm or otherwise whether Currys have an order placed with them for the above TV.
