Does the Sony DSC-QX30 work with Play memories on Windows?

I am looking for a camera that has high optical zoom that would connect to a laptop for daily use. Is this a good camera for this? And is there better options out there?

I am visually impaired and need a distance camera to see the board if I ever return to lectures because of Covid. 

any help would be much appreciated.

The PlayMemories mobile app is discontinued and replaced by the ImagingEdge Mobile app.
