Retro Handycam DVD405E infrared frequency.

Hi all.

Does anyone know what infrared frequency this camcorder used? Not in the manual or documentation.

Just looking at adding more IR lights to increase distance.

As far as I know, most consumer camcorders use infrared radiation somewhere around 850nm. So I think additional infrared lamps at that wavelength should work.
