Xh81 Humax Freesat remote control issues

Hi all, anybody have any idea why remote control randomly stops either operating the Humax box at all, won't even power it on. Or will power it on then not change channel, open guide etc?

It's very frustrating having to resetting the TV or going through menus and trying to relink the Humax box! 

Any tips would be muchly appreciated

Hey, are you referring to the Sony remote or the Humax one? If it is the Sony one, try to reset it by removing the batteries, then press and hold on the green power button for 10 to 15 secs, then insert the batteries and check again.

Hi, yes the sony remote. 

It happens atleast 3times per week! I'm tempted to take the TV back. 

It either is none responsive with Humax but works live TV etc. Or recently it's started to not even operate the TV functions (led flashes so it knows it should be doing something)

It will power the TV on but then no banners, volume, channel, menu buttons etc will work/show up. The only way to get it working again is by reseting the remote (this doesn't even show up on the display) you've just got to guess when the rest icon should show.

Hi Gareths1301, you might be having a faulty remote then, try contacting Sony since you're still within the warranty.
