Volume display conflict eARC and Android 9

Since updating to Android 9 I have a weird thing when I use my Sony remote to control to change volume of my Samsung Soundbar Q90R the TV displays volume as well which is completely different level to soundbar volume and TV speakers are inactive.

Before update, the Soundbar would connect automatically and the Sony remote would change the volume of Soundbar without it showing any volume level on the TV. 

I don’t think it causes any problems but it seems a bug.

On my own setup (Sony KD55A1 and soundbar Sony HTCT350) it worked always like this and it is the way I want it (the tv showing the volume bar while changing the volume on the soundbar, otherways I should look at a tiny small lcd number in front of the sub ...). The tv shows in my case a different value than the soundbar since it goes from 1 to 100 while the HT goes from 1 to 50 (so it is always double)....

PS: you should be in the  US  since your model number is not european and you already got Pie...
