USB not playing but did on my previous LG Tv

Just bought a Sony HD49XG9005. My USB stick won't play. Had a LG Tv and stick worked fine on it. Any idea why please

Hi Rooob,

the TV doesn't recognise the USB, nothing shows up on the screen.

Do you mean you run the media player /video app and it doesn't show the usb device?
