Sound is muted at the beginning of video media

I have a Sony Bravia TV with a PS4 and an apple TV 4K connected to it. Whenever i start a program (a dvd on the PlayStation or a film on Disney+ Via my Apple tv for example) there is always a delay before the sound comes through the tv. About 5-10 seconds I’m guessing. I always have to rewind just to catch the beginning of what is being said.

Has anyone heard of or encountered this issue?

Hey Citizen-Cook, it's always useful to post the model number of the TV In the meanwhile try unplugging the TV from the mains and remove all leads and give it another try. Also, how are your devices connected to each other?
