Sony KDL55XD9305 Heat Help

Hi I received my Sony KDL55XD9305 TVs yesterday and on the left and right of the to on the bezel about half way it gets very hot is this usual I have never experienced this with any other Sony TV I have owned,

Hi there

Its hard to judge exactly how hot your TV is getting.  But i do know that this TV model gets hotter than others.  Is it so hot that it burns you hand when touching?

A more technical explaination of why it may get hotter could be :

"To achieve the slimmest design and X-tended Dynamic Range Pro (XDR-Pro) picture quality, the XD93 Series uses a multiple light guide plate structure as a backlight. (NOTE: A normal/conventional LCD TV uses just a single guide plate structure.)
