Hi my parents have just bought a Sony Smart BRAVIA KD43XF8796BU tv and it was delivered by two forign guys who set it up for them but didn't tell them how to retune it if it needs doing. Alao it shoulod come with a five yr warrenty which they said Currys would do for them, but I think they have to do it themselves. is this right? They are both elderly and I'm worried thay may have believed any twoddle that's been fed to them. I couldn't be there as I was away on a course.
can you advise me please?

My 5 year guarantee was clearly shown on my Invoice/Receipt. In my case an email with it attached. Obviously they should secure a copy of this. I also registered the TV at Sony.co.uk. Belt and braces I would print and keep a copy of the Curry’s product page clearly showing the 5 year guarantee.
To retune Digital TV Antenna see https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00115215. It is easy to find once you have found Settings on the Home screen. There is also lots of help by pressing the Help key.

When it comes to the warranty, it could either e fulfilled by Currys so the registration should be done through them (I'm not sure if you need to actively register it or if Currys do it themselves though) or the second option would be Sony extended warranty which can only be registered once 30 days have passed from the date of purchase by calling or emailing Sony support here.
