Hi all ,
I've had my Bravia KD-49x8305c for 13 months, since yesterday a line appeared on the TV I put the TV to standby and out again and it disappeared till this morning
Any advise would be grateful .

ive had support from Sony and they advised to do a factory data reset which seems to have resolved the issue

Its hard to advise without seeing a photo - but if you remove all HDMI connected devices just leaving the power and aerial leads - does the line still appear when watching Freeview TV?
If so, its probably the begining of a hardware fault and would need looking at by an authorised Sony repair centre, see:
