remote control

Hi, i have the sony bravia kd55x8509c which comes with two remotes , a regular remote and a touch remote which is for the voice control features. Can i use the the single remote which is for a newer model but has the two remotes built into  one ie the kd 55xd8005/kd55xe9005 . just would prefer the one remote rather than the two.

Hi MikeSmartv ,

I believe the only compatible remote control units with the KD-55X8509C are RMT-TX100D, RMF-TX100E. I'm not so sure that using a different remote control will work.
