Quiet System Sounds and Google Assistant Issue

Hi all,

My XE85 Android TV has been up and running for almost a year now, but just recently I noticed that the system sounds, ie the sounds made when navigating through menus or apps was extremely quiet. All audio from the apps such as Netflix, or audio from any external device is normal, controllable volume.

Today I've also updated the system software to Oreo 8.0, and the issue still persists. I also tried Google Assistant, and the voice is also very quiet like the system sounds.

I don't know why the system sounds have become so quiet, they're so quiet that you have to be very close to the TV to hear them. And I can't see anywhere to make changes to the volume of system sounds.

I have a Sony sound bar connected via HDMI ARC, but I've tried the TV speakers only with the same issue.

Can anyone help please?
