Power down USB port on KD-55X9005C TV on standby

Hello

can anyone advise if there is a way I can set the USB port to power down when the TV goes on standby.  I have an optical switch powered off the USB port and ideally would like the power to close off when I turn the TV off so that the sound stops from the soundbar.

Whilst this is an annoying characteristic of many Sony TV (both of mine do it), the Phonak TV Connector, if permanently powered, goes to sleep after 45 seconds if no audio is detected (either 3.5mm analogue, or digital TOSLINK).

For this reason, I use an external USB power adapter to permanently feed power the TV Connector, and let it sleep automatically.

Using the TV USB, it used to keep switching on and off for the entire duration the TV was doing its diagnostics/housekeeping after turning off, which was very annoying.

After trying several elegant but fragile solutions (hue/philips) plug, we walk over to the tv steaming device and press the on/off button. So far so good!
