KDL-48W705C turns on automatically 8-10 minutes after being turned off.

This started about 2 months ago, and no matter how I tweak the timers for automatic updates and automatic turn-off, turn-on, it still posesses this unwanted trait. I have to pull the plug for the night in order to stop it from turning on while we sleep. Firmware is latest. Does anyone know a possible way of resolving this issue? Thanks everyone in advance!
