KD-55X8509C menu reboot problem.

My Sony KD-55X8509C  is driving me crazy, its in an endless re-boot loop, gets as far as the Android screen, flashes. then reboots. it seems like the menus are not loading

I see a lot of advice on line for a factory reset, but cant see specific  instructions for the KD-55X8509C  can anyone tell me the correct sequence to use.

So far I cant get it to respond to anything.
