IR Blaster

Just bought a KD49XG8096. Have set up the IR blaster to operate Sky +  and whilst it works ok in terms of some of the features annoyingly when using the up and down arrows and the blue button to see my favourites it skips three options. This did seem to be problem two years ago according to some past posts but surely it’s been sorted now? Anybody help.?

Yes I did it more or less straight after I set it up last Thursday when it was delivered. TV confirms that software is up to date. I have sent a message to Sony Technical and await their reply. I will update this post when and if I get a reply!

Cracked it. Changed the sky box from hdmi 1 to hdmi 3 and ir blaster no longer skips. It would appear not all hdmi ports are the same!
