Freeview on model KD-55XH9505

I bought my Sony TV model no  KD-55XH9505, on the assumption that it had freeview included, but I can't find it anywhere.

Going through the Sony support page is about as easy as navigating a maze

I'm not very tech savvy , so any help is gratefully appreciated.

Hi @Merdugneo2 

If you disable YouView you will get Freeview. You cannot have both.

I don't have your particular software running on my TVs so as a general guide:

Home -> Settings -> Watching TV -> Channels -> Channel setup -> YouView setup -> Disable YouView.

Note by disabling YouView you may disable some of the iPlayer Apps.

SRory I never got back to ou, but I gave up in the end.

However I tried again last month and finally managed to di it without having to disable You view, so win win!
