Hi,
I appear to be getting nowhere with your customer services and even the Sony Centre where i bought the TV are unable to convince you otherwise.
In short, I am not satisfied with being offered a second-hand TV as a replacement for a TV that is faulty through no fault of my own.
I spent £1599 on a TV with a 5 year warranty and as a replacement I'm offered a REFURBISHED TV (of a different model and not of my choosing) that you're currently selling for £699! You refuse to discuss my case and merely state you can't help me further.
The Sony Centre have tried to speak to you about this and say that they see no reason why I'm not being offered store credit as you have done so for many other customers.

You should note that this is a user community (not Sony).
My KD-55XD9305 packed up after 10 months. I was given a full refund which mostly paid for a KD-55XE9305 replacement with a free XBP-X800. I cannot praise Hughes Direct enough as they didn't quibble and initially loaned me a TV so I was never without. Clearly Sony customer service could learn a lot from them.
Good luck with your quest, but unfortunately it is only fellow customers here and all we can offer is commiserations.
I would contact the financial ombudsman and let them handle this.
