Hi, I've had my Android TV now for about 3 months and never had any connection issues. However, yesterday the power went off and when it came back on we had no issues with any other deviced in the house, all connected and carried on working fine. The TV came back on and appeared to connect back to the WIFI, but when I tried YouTube - no connection. I tried various other apps, and only Netflix works; and works fine as I watched a movie to test it.
I have tried another router, and again everything else works but the TV is the same, only Netflix works. I have disconnected, reconnected, connected with manual password, connected via WPS still the same. I saw a post that suggested WIFI direct causes an issue, but mine is not on. In fact, I put it on, tried it, then off and tried again and it made no difference.
I went into the 'initial setup' for the TV and started again, but still the same. I have been into the network settings and tried setting it as IPV6 but that doesn't work. So, any help would be appreciated.

Can confirm I had the same problem after moving house and the TV was unplugged for a few weeks. Had to change date and time to 'network' rather than 'broadcast' to reset correctly.
Hi, thank you for posting, I had the same issue and noticed the clock and date was incorrect. Have made it automatically adjust and now it all works much appreciated
Thanks for this, spent ages trying to figure out what was going on!
Worked for me after having the same issue for the last few days after a power cut. Thanks, I would never have found it.
Nothing working apart from Netflix.. time was set up ‘broadcast time’ so changed it to ‘network time’ and now everything else is working...
My issue still persists. I had to switch off my main power and once the connections were switched back on, the (so-called) SMART TV did not connect to internet, although NETFLIX works just fine.
My case is a bit weird.
1. The date on TV is 3rd March 2020, so even if I change the timezone to match my local time, because of the date mismatch, the TV cannot connect to Internet.
2. I tried to reset the TV to factory defaults, but for some reason, when I select "RESET", it does nothing.
Same issue 19/09/2020.
same resolution which fixed it.
Settings - System preferences - automatic date & time as ‘Use network time, refresh the TV and it works
I think at this point the Network Time method has proven effective for the issue almost across the board for Android TVs.

So happy I found this thread! Such an annoying problem with Netflix working to throw you off. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this thread - I had this problem today on Sony BRAVIA KD-43XG8196, and changing the date/time from broadcast time to network time solved the problem straightaway
Like others, the date had set itself to 3 March 2020
This thread has saved potentially many hours of frustration (the one hour I spent already serves me right for not checking on this community first!)
