1. TV goes off with right colour temperature Expert 1
I turn it off , and, after 8 minutes I turn on the TV... It's gone, it's all bluish.
I have to manually change it in the menu or change to:
Another HDMI
TV
App.
Did two factory resets and I won't do no more!
This is incredible. It's a basic thing. The TV has to retain its color
Configuration. I've never seen anything like this in my entire life!
2. The red optical light of the toslink connector for audio on the back of the TV doesn't go off.
I am just wondering if this nice piece of engineering is always online...
Can anyone confirm to me that, after 8 minutes off, the red toslink light goes off on the back of the TV, please?
Thank you.
Not at all. It fixed itself. Probably some firmware update, probably some app which changes some timings on resuming from standby. Dunno what did it...
XD85.
by the way - my work around on this is ...
1.Turn the Sony TV off by remote control (green button)
2. Turn the Power completely off by such a switch
Don´t ask why THIS works
you mean: turn the tv off by the power button on the remote control
then turn the tv off from the plug? or, if the tv is on a line filter, turn the line filter off?
is this imediately after turning the tv off on the remote???
resure: turn tv off on the remote control, then imediately, turn the line filter off?
is this it?
do you wait how much before turning the line filter on?
then the tv?
wait... did you say... work around???? youu mean you do this everytime you turn off the tv???
ahhhhh c'mon i thought it was a fix 😞
first: press power off button on your remote control for entering the standby mode.
sec: pull out the mains plug.
Because pulling all the time is not the best solution, you should buy such an AC adapter with integrated switch.
There shouldn´t be too much time between remote control and physically turning the TV 100% off.
at least my w80c turns on with the correct colour temp. then
*edit*
year i do turn off all my devices like this -> save energy 😉
