I’ve just updated to v6.4960 firmware and it seems that I’ve now lost all audio on BBC iPlayer through the native app on my 55’ A8.
Tried restarting with no success, used green button to switch to iPlayer from normal live broadcast, also no success. Is this a firmware issue?
TV is pretty unusable for us now as we watch >50% via iPlayer - hopefully we don’t have to return after only having this for a few weeks.
Any help or similar experiences appreciated.
Complete factory reset has corrected this issue.
Had the same problem after updating to 6.4960. All streaming channels lost sound and picture judder except Netflix which was fine. Everything now fine after removing power supply for 10 mins. Thanks all
Hi could you guys confirm that you do not have an issue with iplayer UHD content, a few of us are not able to play UHD content after the 6.4960 update. cheers

Are you still having this issue? Have you tried clearing the cached data for the TV? (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data)

Yes I still have the issue, i have cleared cache and data for internal shared storage and the tv catchup app. I have factory reset a number of times leaving the tv unplugged for 20 minutes before repowering. Currently waiting a response from iplayer tech support. Seems a number of people having this same issue

Could you possibly let us know when iPlayer support give you a response? This could hopefully help other people with the same issue.

This sounds like my issue here , accross multiple services. i may unplug for a while and see if it resolves.
