Hi All,
Purchased the set in Dec and it was bought to replace a 4 day old 75XD8505 which had so many issues.
This set has from day 1 crashed, restarted randomly, juddered, blacked out, flickered and had artifacting.
Called Sony support - No help given other than try a factory reset and wait for 6.0 to come out.
Emailed CEO's team - Sent an engineer who investigated and said there is a main board issue and a possible screen issue, Sony told me to return the set and get my money back from the retailer.
The retailer doesnt have anymore of these sets left and if I get a refund I lose money as I traded in my old set as part of a promotion.
The set came with a 5 year Sony warranty which clearly isnt worth anything and after speaking to Citizens Advice and sending a letter to Sony HQ in Surrey nearly a month ago I am yet to hear a response.
Just wondering what the best way to deal with this is?

I have escalated this to Sony support who should get back to you in a day or two. If I also hear back from them, I'll post back too.
